World of Tanks is a multiplayer online action game. After its original release, the developers went on and added a lot of new features. Over time more than 15 different tanks have been added to the game. New maps have also been added which feature different types of terrain and require a different play style.
There still are the four nations : Germany, France, USA and Russia. By the way, a Chinese tank can be bought with actual money on special occasions. The gameplay is also largely left unchanged, however, there are some tweaks here and there for a better experience. With the addition of the new tanks, some of the old tanks like the overly used KV were nerfed. The KV itself was split into two tanks because it was considered too powerful as class 5.
Much more focus has been put on clan wars and team fights in general with a lot of guides and even gold prizes to winners. Gold can be used to buy special ammunition and other things that give a certain advantage. The tank crews have special skills when they reach the highest level of experience and these also give quite an advantage. Tanks now also have some sort of special skills which can be bought for silver, which is the in-game currency.
World of Tanks has turned out to be a game that constantly receives new content every few weeks and keeps fresh. I really enjoy playing it, and I regard the fact that once your tank gets destroyed you can just choose another one and go to battle, without waiting as a huge plus.
